A group of soldiers are sent into a dangerous empty area. They are not sure about the exact nature of their mission. It turns out to the lab of Dr. Nicholas Benjamin who has done some rather nasty experiments that lead to the creation of zombies. The usual bad-ass soldiers now face a truly dangerous threat at the hands of the undead and some genetically engineered monsters. Who is funding all of this? What is their ultimate goal? Will the world end?

Dumb Fun For All The Wrong Reasons

Beyond The Call of Duty is not an official Call of Duty adaptation. Rather, it was given a new title to capitalize on the video game connection. The make-up in here isn't too bad. The blood and gore are nicely done. Unfortunately, everything else is pretty damn bad. The acting needs to be taken to the ER because it is so dead. The dialogue could be used to torture the damned. It was truly trite far too much. At many times it was just plain awful. The mad doctor was pretty funny at least. The ending was trite. These military guys often look like anything but. The action scenes were watchable. Everything else was just plain hilariously bad. I got some good laughs out of it, though. I give Beyond The Call Of Duty a rating of 6 out of 10.
