”May The Chaos Be With You . . .“

Giko is riding down the street on her bike when she suddenly runs into a schoolgirl zombie. She falls flat on her face and splatter everything all over. Then she confronts human schoolgirls, one of whom has metal jaws. Giko pulls out a chainsaw, and the bloodbath is on. There's a cheerleader who fires missles from her vagina. There's tons of zombies to carve up. There's a young male ninja, Nero, who serves a female mastermind. Is she the one behind all of this carnage? She has a chainsaw as well. Who will win the war of the chainsaws?

Another Slice Of Japanese Madness

Bloody Chainsaw Girl is a truly crazy cinematic ride. This movie reminds me of the Sushi Typhoon titles. The movie is based on a manga series, which must be equally crazy in and of itself. There's some great make-up work in here and the CGI isn't too annoying. It's hard to know what would happen next in the film, which is good. I loved all the chainsaw action. I didn't quite get the opening credits being in English when the movie had no subtitles. Still, Bloody Chainsaw Girl was a pretty damn fun ride that merits a rating of 7 out of 10.
