Only Rags, No Riches For Viewers

Rags is a perfect name for this movie. It has a Raggedy plot. The acting is ragged to say the least. The story is full of holes, like rags made from old clothes. The effects are ragged and scattershot. But much everything is left in Rags in this film. The biggest problem with this film is that it's just plain dull. Rags is awful. It doesn't even sink to the level of being so bad, it's good. At least some bad movie directors, like Ed Wood, had some sense of timing. Rags just drags and drags and drags and drags and drags. This dreck starts with 20-30 minutes of dialogue, which is hideous with bad acting and an even worse script. There's nothing here. Many bad movies will have some action scenes. Not Rags. The baby birthing scene is pretty funny, at least, but that is only after 45 minutes of excruciating dullness. The zombie baby material is pretty amusing, but it only takes place after 75 minutes of utter tedium. Rags could have been fun, but there's nothing here for this viewer other than . . . Rags. This dreck only merits a rating of 2 out of 10.
