Part 6 And Series As A Whole--Thank God For Forty Minute Portions

The six part Zombies And The Pastors series ends up being at least watchable in large measure due to the 6 parts being available in 40 minute portions. If they were all merged together for a 2 hour 30 minute epic it would probably be unwatchable. It would have been the all too common flaw of low budget Nollywood films--tons of talk and very little action. Even in 40 minute increments, it was a task to watch some episodes. But there were some parts that were simply so bad, they were good. The snake effect were actually pretty decent. I always kept wondering where the damnable Pastors were. I guess the people on the Walking Dead should just commit themselves to God and the zombies will be gone. But The Walking Dead isn't a cheesy Nigerian film. The zombies in here are truly hilarious. The make-up isn't bad. The rising from the graves is pretty cool. But they move slower than the Blind Dead. It leads to a lot of laughable scenes were people have to move really slowly or fall all over themselves to let the zombies catch up. And all of the screams coming from off screen whenever the zombies showed up was pretty funny as well. I give the Zombies And The Pastors series a rating of 6 out of 10.
