One Sure Winner: The Viewer
Backwater Gospel is an excellent short film that focuses on the evils of human intolerance. Zombies are a crucial part here, but, as is the classic tradition of zombie stories, it is humanity that is the true source of darkness here. The voice acting is fantastic. The animation is excellent. It is a nice mixture of rough CGI with some hints of stop-motion. The final images are very powerful. There's a nice contrast with a famous statement by Jesus Christ and the one stated by the insane minister. Backwater Gospel is a truly excellent short that merits a rating of 9 out of 10.by Verhoskan on october 26th 2017
