Justin TimberlakeJessica Biel opened up about her life with husband Justine Timberlake during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that airs Wednesday, October 16. Black Snake Moan and a man who shot to fame with the remarkable movie Hustle & Flow in 2005. He is slightly older than Timberlake but grew up in Memphis around the same time.

NSYNC began their march toward stardom in 1996 when their first album appeared in Europe. Two years later, their eponymous debut was released in the U.S. and the group scored hits with “Tearin’ Up My Heart,” “I Want You Back,” and “(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You.” The latter reached the Top Ten, paving the way for the smash success of No Strings Attached in 2000. Within one week of its March 2000 release, the album sold an astonishing 2.4 million copies and set a record that stood for 15 years. After generating the singles “It’s Gonna Be Me” and “Bye Bye Bye,” the group set to work on its next album, 2001’s Celebrity. It was another massive hit, launching the Top Ten singles “Pop,” “Gone,” and “Girlfriend, but it proved to be the group’s last album, as Timberlake’s popularity was quickly eclipsing that of the rest of the group.

And with the release of his fifth album, Man of the Woods, on the horizon, Timberlake isn’t taking his foot off the gas yet, with the album teaser seemingly nodding to yet another gear-change. Thanks to its slo-mo scenes of JT frolicking in nature (a field, some mountains, the snow!), many scathingly assumed he, like Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga before him, planned to cast off the pronounced black-music influences that helped make his name and rebrand as a white man” And yet, in spite of the Gap ad-ness of the marketing campaign, one listen to singles Filthy” and Supplies” reveals all you need to know about this record: His signature aesthetic (i.e., meticulously produced, R&B-spiked pop) remains firmly intact and, in true JT-style, any country melodies and southern-fried guitars” in the mix are mere seasoning to his soulful pop meat.

I respect him a lot. He’s a smart, interesting guy. So I thought he’d be bored. But then he would tell me the stories he’d read in the local paper, or heard around town, or who worked at Panera with him. They would remind me of people I grew up around, but it blew my mind that he thought it was so interesting. A lot of people grow up in the South and claim to have Southern pride, but actually have Southern shame. Like, Where I’m from is boring. Nobody cares about little me living here in this silly state.” He was finding out things I loved and knew, but thought wouldn’t interest other people. And now I realize that’s not true. And it’s something I have to offer. I come from somewhere specific, and not many filmmakers are from there. So I can use that until the rest of the world catches on and starts hiring people from Birmingham, until there are like 20 of us.

One of Timberlake’s most notable performances to date was in 2010’s The Social Network, the drama about the creation of Facebook. Timberlake played real-life internet tycoon Sean Parker in the film. Turning to more comedic fare, he starred in Bad Teacher with Cameron Diaz and in Friends with Benefits with Mila Kunis , both in 2011. Timberlake also has a leading role in the 2013 thriller Runner Runner with Ben Affleck Keeping in stride with his latest string of more serious roles, Timberlake has also taken on the part of Neil Bogart in the film Inside Llewyn Davis (2013).

And not long after that, Biel shared her own heartfelt message for Timberlake in honor of the last show of his tour. Earlier this month, Timberlake’s ankle was grabbed by infamous prankster Vitalii Sediuk as he was making his way to the Louis Vuitton show with Biel.

As the father of two young daughters, Jimmy Fallon knows a thing or two about parenting. However, the Tonight Show star is the first to admit that he might not be able to provide too much help for his good friend, Justin Timberlake.

A hot and talented singer that people love to hate for no reason at all. He’s not rude, ugly, or un-talented (like a lot of other celebrities ,) but for some reason, people don’t like talented people.

The Super Bowl gig generated controversy well before Timberlake took the stage, with the hashtag #JusticeForJanet circulating on social media among Jackson fans who felt she took the brunt of the fallout from the 2004 Super Bowl show. Furthermore, the rumor that Timberlake planned to perform with a hologram of Prince incited additional backlash, as fans cited an interview in which the deceased music great specifically stated his opposition to that sort of special effect.

Surprisingly enough, this “Justin Idol” style showcase isn’t actually as bad as it sounds, when on stage, Timberlake’s magnetism, charisma and pure silkiness manages to provide the audience with one of the most energetic, exciting performances of the entire evening. There’s no doubt that every time Timberlake’s name is mentioned over the booming Tannoy the squeals from inside the giant stadium ricochet about the walls at three times the volume.

Justin Timberlake rose to fame as a member of the boy band NSYNC in the late 1990’s. Their debut album sold over 11 million copies, and their second sold 2.4 million in the first week.

After dealing with a very public legal battle with their former manager Lou Pearlman, the band released their sophomore follow-up, No Strings Attached in 2000, which became the top-selling album of the year and the bestselling album of the decade. The follow-up and final album, Celebrity, was released in 2001 and produced three hit singles: “Pop,” “Gone,” and “Girlfriend.” The PopOdyssey tour, which promoted the album, became one of the biggest tours of the year, earning $90 million.

Legendary as Timberlake’s talents may be, his wife actually wasn’t always so impressed by them. A recently-surfaced 1999 interview from Biel revealed that the 7th Heaven star actually wasn’t a huge fan of Timberlake’s back in the day.

Yes, you read that right. Justin Timberlake, the Prince of Pop for many 90s babies, is using words like “integrate” in 2019 when it comes to how he interacts with Black artists.

Juan “Trace” Ayala III is Justin Timberlake’s lifelong best friend from Shelby Forest, Tennessee. Their parents went to high school together and gave birth to Ayala and Timberlake within three months of each other.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Justin Timberlake reveals that he has new music with Lizzo, SZA, and Meek Mill on the way. It’s a huge shift from the wilderness aesthetic he donned for Man of the Woods, but after the backlash following his previous album , the man who fashioned his career off traditionally Black music like R&B and soul, is returning to collaborate with some of hip-hop’s boldest voices. It isn’t the first time in his nearly 20 years as a solo act that Timberlake stands to gain credence from his proximity to Black artists. But it’s surprising he’s pivoting back to Blackness so quickly, especially given the way he marketed his last album.

As they got older and the fame started flooding in, although Ayala felt he should stay on at high school and continue with his studying, by his late teens Timberlake had cajoled, enticed and convinced his best pal to move into his palatial mansion down in Orlando, Florida, and go touring with Nsync.

While he has been busy with a multitude of projects, actor-musician Justin Timberlake stepped out on Tuesday night at Levi’s Haus in the Hollywood Hills to celebrate his latest partnerships with the heritage California denim brand. Among the guests at the intimate dinner of steak and pasta (catered by Felix chef Evan Funke) were the Haim sisters and Timberlake’s musical partners, including songwriter-record producers Rob Knox and Danja and guitarist Elliot Ives, who told THR that the band is spending time in the recording studio this week. (Timberlake recently revealed that he is teaming up with SZA, Lizzo and Meek Mill on new tunes).

Nobody wishes ill on Timberlake, his wife Jessica Biel or their young son Silas, but happiness has numbed him as an artist. Justin Timberlake’s falsetto floods you with dopamine as he slowly rings out the first 30 seconds of his love anthem Pusher Love Girl”.

The tracklist made everyone giggle when they saw ‘Flannel’ on there, and while Timberlake’s ode to clothing favoured by lumberjacks everywhere is indeed terrible, it’s not the worst offender here. Try sub-Robin Thicke adventures like ‘Sauce’ or the clumsy Americana of the title track on for size.

Timberlake was brought up in a very music orientated family, and his grandfather introduced him to music from many stars growing up; including the likes of Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.

Justin Timberlake has recently been busy working on new music, but he’s also found time to help launch a songwriting lab at the Memphis Stax Music Academy. The actor-musician and the Levi’s Music Project have announced plans to install the lab to help students foster their songwriting talents. Not only that, but he’s debuted a new fall capsule collection with the fashion brand.

There’s simply too much of it. There’s the acting: “I would like to think that will take over, begin to become more a part of my professional life”; the clothing range with Ayala; the production collaborations with other younger artists, such as 17-year-old Chris Brown. But get him on his music, or more specifically how he feels he’s figured out how to make a hit record, and Timberlake comes alive, both physically and verbally. He talks faster, his voice turning to a near-whisper as if he’s passing on some secret formula on how to turn water into wine, or simple snares and beats into shiny golden discs. “OK, take ‘Cry Me A River’. I knew that song was serious when I was on a plane going to London in 2003 to perform at the Brits.

In late August, Timberlake, along with his longtime producer Timbaland and other collaborators including Memphis guitarist Elliott Ives, came to Soulsville to work with a group of Stax students for two days in The Song Lab, helping on original music the students wrote and composed. The musical mini-camp was capped by a live concert at the Stax Museum’s studio A on Aug. 22.

Justin Timberlake looks just as comfortable on a golf course as he does on a stage. Paired with Justin Rose, the 38-year-old singer leads the field in style, energy and bunker play at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship—one of the most fun European Tour events on the schedule, played at the Old Course at St. Andrews, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie.

OUTSTANDING! The venue was welcoming, accomodating (for my last minute injury and seating challenges), and immaculate! This facility is 2nd to none! We had dinner afterwards in a high-end eating establishment gushing about this Justin Timberlake experience we had just witnessed. It was truly a religious event. It was worth the wait. What a production. What a team. It is unfathomable how this tour repeated itself for 15 months to perfection. Thank you for setting the bar so high. My mind had been BLOWN. Never has a stage growed-grass, had a fire-pit, danced on a bar, a stage was utilized from end-to-end of arena for 2.5 hours which there was not a bad seat in the entire house. JT is a true performer and made a personal connection with all in attendance. I was exhausted when I left. Thank you for a memorable night.
