MOMOLANDSouth Korean girl group Momoland reached a new milestone Thursday on YouTube. As a way of giving back to Pinoy fans, Momoland will donate its earnings from an upcoming concert to Filipino kids in need. Taeha was a ‘Produce 101′ contestant and former Starship Entertainment trainee, while Daisy was an eliminated ‘Finding Momoland’ contestant.

Filling up the Big Dome with their signature hits and dance moves, Nancy, Jooe, Ahin, Hyebin, Jane and Nayun wowed the audience with a repertoire that included Baam, Boom Boom, Welcome to Momoland, Uh Gi Yeo Cha (EDM version), Wonderful Love, and their version of Yeng Constantino’s Salamat as their finale song.

Ha Sungwoon and Kim Jaehwan first visited Manila on October 2017 as Wanna One members for their fan meet and came back 11 months after that for their first and final concert in the Philippines. After finishing their contract as Wanna One members, they will be returning here in the Philippines as solo artists. As they embark on a new journey as soloists, their Filipino fans are surely excited to witness their idols perform their solo tracks live for the first time.

I have to agree that this song is somehow “Bboom Bbom” 2.0. However, this song was also very catchy, and I still ended up adding it to my playlist for a while. It was a shame that it didn’t win at music shows. Honestly, I think it could have won if they weren’t promoting at the same time as other, bigger k-pop groups. I believe they promoted around the same time as Blackpink and Apink. If we think about it, “Bboom Bboom” was able to give the group their first win because of two main reasons 1) The song was amazing 2) They promoted the song early in the year when most popular groups are so busy with ceremony awards that they are unable to make a comeback.

MANILA, Philippines – Pinoy Merries got their early Christmas gift with Momoland’s fourth visit in the country. It was made more memorable when the K-pop group held a benefit concert as its expression of love for Pinoy fans via Good Friends in Manila, last Oct. 5 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Previously fans have implored on MLD Entertainment to provide a statement on Daisy and Taeha’s hiatus. After their rise in Korea and abroad, Momoland entered the J-Pop market and debuted in Japan on June 13. They released music such as Japanese versions of their viral hits ‘Bboom Bboom’ and ‘Baam’.

MOMOLAND is a South Korean Girl Group formed by Dublekick Company (now MLD Entertainment) through the reality show ‘Finding Momoland’. The group debuted in 2016 with 7 members – Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy – with the mini album ‘Welcome to MOMOLAND’. In 2017, Daisy, a contestant of ‘Finding Momoland’, and Taeha (a contestant of Produce 101 ) were added to the group.

On December 30, their 2018 viral hit song ‘Bboom Bboom’s’ cable-shopping-network-inspired music video reached 300 million views on YouTube, making them the fifth K-Pop group and third female act to do so after BlackPink and Twice. It’s also their first music video to achieve this milestone.

JooE, Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, Ahin, Nancy, Daisy and Taeha take their appreciation for the support of Filipinos a step further. Their agency MLD Entertainment announced that the group will donate everything they earn from the show, saying that the girls have been looking for an opportunity to give back to the Filipino fans who embraced them.

Before any patting, slapping, or tapping is involved, Jane says she sprays on a face mist prior to taking off her makeup. “I’m going to try that out today,” Nancy remarks. Ironically, Ahin later reveals that the members don’t ask each other for beauty advice. “We have our own beauty tips,” she adds.

Backstage at KCON 2018 Los Angeles, the annual K-pop convention and festival that attracted more than 94,000 fans last weekend, MOMOLAND proved its antics are no farce. The girls laughed and hugged one another with blankets, JooE doing a tiny dance jig and making an adorable “eye smile” at reporters. It made MOMOLAND one of KCON’s best-received performers for the weekend, with the SoCal crowd erupting into cheers when JooE got her chance to let loose during their closing rendition of “Bboom Bboom.” It may be moments like these that help change K-pop’s too-buttoned-up perception in the West.

About the ph fanmeeting one? I dunno what special thing to expect? First time they went to the Philippines they did all 5 singles which was the first time I think they did that. And it was JooE’s birthday so they sang Happy Birthday for her. Second time they went nothing special happened. It was a free concert so they only did 2 songs if I remember correctly. Third time it’s close to Daisy’s birthday so they’ll probably bring out a cake for her. I dunno what other special stage they can do? I dunno probably they will finally perform Fly live? Fly is popular to the Filipino merries.

Nancy is a former trainee of Nega Network. She is the youngest member with the most training experience, she trained for 6 years. She studied at HanLim Art School (graduated on Feb 9, 2018). She participated in Finding Momoland as one of the 10 contestants. She became one of the winners which later debuted as the girl group Momoland.

The K-pop girl group behind the hit songs Bboom Bboom”, Baam”, and I’m so Hot” — MOMOLAND— is coming back to Manila this October 5, 2019 together with the former Wanna One members Kim Jaehwan and Ha Sungwoon! Filipino Merries and Wannables will surely become Good Friends as these three acts come together to perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

In May 2018 Momoland held a series of events in Japan which were called 1st Fanmeeting Merry Land Season 1. The girls visited two Japanese cities – Zepp Namba venue in Osaka on May 15, 2018 and Akasaka Blitz venue in Tokyo two days later.

MANILA (UPDATE) – Here’s an unexpected bit of news to come out this Friday – James Reid is teaming up with Momoland’s Nancy, who also goes by her new Korean name Lee Geu Roo nowadays, for a teleserye.

Yesterday, MLD Entertainment dropped a surprise for fans of the K-pop girl group when they announced on Twitter that the three members launched their accounts. Momoland is a South Korean girl band that was formed through the reality show Finding Momoland in 2016.

The girls from Momoland were scheduled to meet the fans on December 22, 2018. Prior to the meeting the recruitment for the official Momoland fanclub were hold from September 21 to October 31 with the additional period from November 5 to November 11. The group announced the name of their fandom – Merry-Go-Round during VLive broadcast in Aprill the year before.

Hyebin is a B2M ex-trainee. She trained for 4 years. She used to be a model. Her pre-debut name is Cherry. Hyebin joined Duble Kick (MLD Entertainment) in early 2015. She participated in Finding Momoland as one of the 10 contestants. She became one of the winners which later debuted as the girl group Momoland.

Korean Pop girl group Momoland will donate their earnings from their upcoming Manila concert to children in the Philippines. This is the first time a K-pop group is doing this good deed for the country.

The song fronts the group’s new EP Show Me, also released today. I’m So Hot” doesn’t feature Daisy or Taeha, who each joined MOMOLAND in 2017, about a half-year after the act got its start in November 2016.

Additionally to the Momoland merchandise two albums – Momoland The Best ~Korean Ver.~ compilation album with the Korean songs of the group and extended play Great! were sold at the events. Lead Vocalists can take many parts y’know plus while Taeha is on hiatus, Ahin is still Main Vocalist.

The aim of this petition is to call out the attention of MLD Entertainment to take an action with the MOMOLAND Official Facebook Group. I think the best action that they will make and the only way is to delete that said group. It’s really disgusting that everytime you will visit the group, you will see things that everyone especially MOMOLAND should not see. The deletion of that facebook group is for the better. I hope that MLD Entertainment listen this time.
